Kigali Genocide Memorial

Kigali Genocidmuseet i Kigali, Rwanda, står som en gripande hyllning till offren för folkmordet mot tutsiåret 1994. Invigt på folkmordets 10-årsdag hyllar detta minnesmärke i Gisozi de 250 000 förlorade livet och undervisar om de gruvliga grymheterna i 1900-talets folkmord.

Det pågående projektet Väggen med namn hedrar de avlidna, med många namn som fortfarande väntar på dokumentation. Minnesmärkets trädgårdar erbjuder en fridfull plats för eftertanke över folkmordets historia och uppmanar oss alla att ta personligt ansvar för att förhindra diskriminering och massförbrytelser.
